What is CheapStack?
CheapStack is a collection of affordable developer starter kits and boilerplates built with Next.js 16, Tailwind CSS v4, and TypeScript. Each kit includes production-ready code for common SaaS features.
How much does CheapStack cost?
Individual kits range from $19 to $59. The Pro Bundle includes all 8 kits for $79. All purchases are one-time: no subscriptions, no recurring fees.
What payment methods do you accept?
CheapStack uses Polar.sh for payment processing. Polar.sh accepts credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and supports payouts in 130+ countries.
Does CheapStack work with Stripe?
The SaaS Boilerplate ($59) supports both Stripe and Polar.sh. The SaaS Starter ($49) uses Polar.sh. If you need Stripe, choose the SaaS Boilerplate.
Can I use CheapStack for commercial projects?
Yes. All kits are licensed for unlimited commercial and personal projects. You may not redistribute the source code as your own product.
Do I need a subscription?
No. All CheapStack kits are one-time purchases. Pay once, download the source code, use it forever. No monthly or annual fees.
What tech stack do the kits use?
All kits use Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript (strict mode), and Tailwind CSS v4. Database options include SQLite (via Turso) and PostgreSQL (via Drizzle ORM).
Do you offer refunds?
Due to the digital nature of the products, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@cheapstack.dev if something is broken.
How do I download my purchase?
After purchasing, you receive a download link from Polar.sh. The link is personalized and signed. You can download your ZIP file immediately.
Do the kits include documentation?
Yes. Every kit includes setup instructions and code comments. The SaaS Boilerplate ($59) includes a README, AGENTS.md for AI coding agents, and .cursorrules file.
Can I get support?
Yes. Email hello@cheapstack.dev for support questions. The SaaS Boilerplate includes priority support.
Is CheapStack open source?
The source code is included with purchase but the products are not open source. You receive full access to modify the code for your projects.
